Individual
Leadership Coaching
Individual leadership coaching is a private, confidential relationship between
you and your coach, focused on your development as a leader. Your coach
will listen, evaluate, and apply wisdom and experience to encourage you and provoke
you to discover and develop yourself as a leader. For leadership coaching
to work, you will need to be open to new ideas and strategies, learn new skills,
and practice them.
Studying techniques and exploring insights from others will inform you, but only
you can take action. Nobody else can do leadership for you. So your
effort, your courage, and your actions as a leader are our highest priority.
Regular coaching sessions will be private conversations, in-person or by telephone. In
the early phases of our coaching relationship, you will have some assessments
to complete which we will use as guiding tools for our conversation. We
will also have ad-hoc conversations as well, almost always driven by you. These
can take place by phone, by email, IM, or in-person as the situation demands.
There are five phases to our coaching engagement:
Each coaching relationship is different. We can spend
as little as three months together on a few elements or we
might spend years together, depending on what you choose to
do. Every 90 days, you will evaluate your coach, evaluate
the process, and we will adjust as needed to ensure you get
the maximum benefit from this relationship.
